We have stayed at all of these Niagara Hotels at one point over the years. We are also including a quick reference for where to stay in Niagara Falls, USA. Where to Stay in Niagara Falls
Fallsview Tourist Area Hotels
The Fallsview area is the best place to stay in Niagara Falls with views of the falls and nightlife. This is also the area where you’ll find the greatest concentration of the best luxury hotels in Niagara Falls. These Niagara hotels are located along Fallsview Boulevard and there is no shortage of things to do, places to eat, and luxury hotels and resorts to choose from.
Hotels here have epic falls views as they are located almost directly beside Horseshoe Falls on the Canada Side. The Fallsview area is the more upscale neighborhood of Niagara Falls with the Niagara Fallsview Casino being at its centerpiece. This is where we almost exclusively stay when visiting Niagara Falls. If you are looking for the best hotels in Niagara Falls with fall views, the aptly named Fallsview area is our favorite to stay.
You won’t find budget hotels here though and it is a bit of a hike to the top Niagara Falls attractions. But many hotels offer free WeGo shuttles and it is an easy city to walk around. Plus, you are close to the funicular that will take you directly down to the Falls.
1. Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa
The Marriott Fallsview Hotel is our go-to of the Fallsview hotels in Niagara for a romantic getaway. It is one of the best hotels for couples in Niagara Falls as it has a spa that is to die for. Burning Springs Spa has day passes that allow you to enjoy their thermal Pools to enjoy a hydrotherapy journey of hot and cold pools and saunas.
With Fallsview rooms and jacuzzi suites, this upscale hotel is the ultimate romantic getaway. Our hotel room upgrade (thanks to being Marriott Bonvoy members) had floor-to-ceiling windows, and a hot tub and the high floor gave us panoramic a view of Niagara Falls and the American Falls.
There is also an indoor heated pool and hot tub for families and guests to use as well as a fitness center, a bar, and Starbucks on-site. Plus, Morten’s Steakhouse is located directly on the premises. See prices and availability on Booking.com or TripAdvisor
2. Embassy Suites by Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview
The Embassy Suites by Hilton is connected to the Marriott Fallsview Hotel and is another one of the top hotels in Niagara Falls with the best fall views.
We loved their two-room suites and felt like we were on a luxury retreat. Ordering room service while enjoying a quiet night in as we took in the view of Niagara Falls makes for a bucket list experience. Plus, it houses the Keg Restaurant our number one top choice of where to eat in Niagara Falls. It has amazing views of the falls and you can’t go wrong with their steaks.
We stayed at this hotel several times in the past and loved it. But, looking at recent reviews, we aren’t sure if it needs an upgrade or not. See prices and availability on Booking.com or TripAdvisor
3. Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview Hotel and Suites
Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview Hotel and Suites – We have also stayed at this big spectacle of a hotel with huge suites. You can choose from hotel rooms with jacuzzis and fireplaces and views overlooking the falls. The Hilton Niagara Falls has an indoor pool, spa, and fitness center.
The Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview is connected to the Niagara Fallsview Casino Entertainment Centre via a climate-controlled walkway. The Brasa Brazilian Steakhouse is a great place to eat here offering authentic Brazilian barbecue. Check it out on Booking.com or TripAdvisor
4. Radisson Hotel and Suites Fallsview
Radisson Hotel and Suites Fallsview – The Radisson Hotel has beautiful rooms overlooking the falls. In my opinion some of the best. You wouldn’t know it when looking from the outside but our hotel room at the Radisson had the best view of Niagara Falls that we can remember. We felt as if we could reach out and touch it.
It is connected by an indoor walkway to the Marriott Fallsview Hotel concourse and it has a swimming pool. Its restaurant is the ever-popular Outback Steakhouse. See more on TripAdvisor / Booking.com
5. Fallsview Casino Resort
The Fallsview Casino Resort is probably the most famous of all the hotels in Niagara Falls if you go by promotion alone. It is the heart of the Fallsview Area and has gorgeous views of the American Falls and Horseshoe falls. Rated as one of the top luxury hotels in Niagara Falls, it is a huge hotel with suites featuring stunning views of Niagara Falls. Its world-class casino is located directly on its premises with slot machines, gaming tables, and poker. It also features top-notch entertainment with live music, comedians, and performances from A-list stars.
This resort also has spa services and treatments, plus there is an indoor pool and hot tub and there are the usual fine dining and casual restaurants on site with views of the falls. You can book rooms directly at their website.
6. Marriott on the Falls
Marriott on the Falls – Not to be confused with Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa, Marriott on the Falls is located across the road from Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa. Both are good and the Marriott on the Falls also has views of the falls, but it is across the street. It too is a good hotel though and you can never go wrong with a Marriott.
We have also stayed at this hotel, it’s a bit more reasonable than the Marriott Niagara across the street while still having a good view of Niagara Falls. It has an indoor pool and the beautiful hotel rooms that Marriott is known for with coffee makers, duvets, free Wifi, and mini-fridges. See more on TripAdvisor / Booking.com
7. Tower Hotel
I love how the Tower Hotel is nestled between the giants of Niagara hotels. This unassuming hotel is so darn cute with some of the best views in Niagara Falls. I will admit that we have never booked a room here, but we have eaten at its fantastic Skyk Fallsview Steakhouse located on the 26th floor with fantastic views of the falls.
This hotel doesn’t have the amenities of other Niagara Falls area hotels, if you make sure to book a Fallsview Tower King Room for spectacular views. Even the on-site IHOP has great views! See prices and availability on Booking.com or TripAdvisor
8. The DoubleTree Fallsview Resort & Spa by Hilton
The DoubleTree Fallsview Resort & Spa by Hilton really stands out as it towers over Fallsview Boulevard. It’s located between the Fallsview tourist area and Clifton Hill. We have yet to stay here, but we’ve gone inside for a peek around and we always say we are going to book a room when we drive by. It’s a little farther away from the falls, but some rooms have a view of Niagara Falls.
Many hotels in Niagara Falls offer luxurious spa services with their packages, and the DoubleTree Fallsview Resort & Spa by Hilton is no exception. Spa services include massages, facials, body treatments, and other wellness therapies. So after a day of activities in Niagara Falls, why not unwind and relax in the spa’s serene atmosphere, complete with an indoor pool and hot tub, and fitness center?
The hotel’s on-site restaurant, Buchanans Steak, and Seafood serve Canadian and international cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant also features an extensive Niagara wine list. See prices on Booking.com / TripAdvisor
9. Oakes Hotel Overlooking the Falls
Oakes Hotel Overlooking the Falls is located on a hill overlooking Niagara Falls. Guest rooms also feature floor-to-ceiling windows with some offering views of the falls. Its comfortable rooms include suites with separate living areas and jacuzzi tubs. The hotel also features an indoor pool, fitness center, and on-site restaurant.
Despite its prime location, the Oakes Hotel Overlooking the Falls is often priced competitively with other hotels in the area, making it a great value for travelers who want to experience the best of Niagara Falls without breaking the bank. See prices on Booking.com / TripAdvisor
10. Old Stone Inn Boutique Hotel
The Old Stone Inn Boutique Hotel is located in an old flour mill that dates back to 1904. Like many Niagara Falls hotels, some rooms feature fireplaces and whirlpool tubs.
It is known for its on-site restaurant, the Flour Mill Scratch Kitchen Restaurant, which serves Canadian and international cuisine made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant also features a large selection of local Niagara wines. See it on TripAdvisor / Booking.com

Fallsview Casino – Niagara Falls’s premier casino is a 200,000-square-foot entertainment complex. It is connected to the Fallsview Casino Resort.
Niagara Falls Incline Railway – A fast link between Fallsview Tourist Area and the Table Rock area. Get down to the falls fast.
Journey Behind the Falls – One of our favorite Niagara Falls Attractions. Take a walk behind Horseshoe Falls in a series of tunnels under Niagara Falls.
Avalon Ballroom Theatre – Attracting world-class entertainment from John Legend to Steven Tyler. Great music venue.
IMAX Theatre – Check out a movie on this giant screen.
4D Fallsview Movie – Legends of Niagara Falls is a 4D sensory overload movie tracing the evolution of Niagara Falls and the Great Lakes.
Queen Victoria Park – walk down to the main area for experiencing Niagara Falls. This is the main walking area to explore the falls and from Queen Victoria Park you can access many of Niagara’s top attractions from Rainbow Bridge to the Power Station.
Clifton Hill Tourist Area
Clifton Hill was the first tourist area of Niagara Falls and it is probably the first place you’ll go to when you visit the city. It is the main tourist drag with all the souvenir shops, wax museums, and funhouses.
You can find budget accommodation along the strip and behind the midway or you can stay on the Niagara Parkway overlooking the falls. It’s a great place to stay to be near the attractions that are located on Clifton Hill.
11. Sheraton Fallsview Hotel
Sheraton Fallsview Hotel is considered one of the best hotels in Niagara Falls and we agree. We’ve stayed at this hotel many times and love not only its location to some of Niagara’s top attractions but its view. The Sheraton Fallsview Hotel has the best overall view of the US Falls and Canadian Horseshoe Falls of all the Niagara Falls hotels. It has recently undergone a 50 million-dollar renovation and is one of our favorite places to stay in Niagara Falls. The Sheraton Fallsview Hotel is connected to the Niagara Casino and the Fallsview indoor waterpark. See it on Booking.com / TripAdvisor
The newly renovated rooms are chic offering floor-to-ceiling windows, a Juliette balcony, loft rooms, and outstanding views of the falls. As a part of the Marriott Bonvoy club, we love gathering our points to enjoy its amenities. You can’t beat the view of the falls from the Christienne Fallsview Spa where you can relax away from the hustle and bustle. There is a Fallsview Rooftop Pool and bar as well. This complex has everything.
At the same time, you are steps from the action of Clifton hill and the indoor water park that is connected to the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark, Casino Niagara, and Hershey’s Chocolate World. For dining with a view, eat at Massimo’s Italian Fallsview Restaurant. See it on Booking.com / TripAdvisor
12. Crown Plaza Niagara Falls Fallsview
The Crown Plaza Niagara Falls Fallsview is located beside the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel and it is connected to both the Niagara Casino and the indoor waterpark as well. It has the more elegant old-world feel as one of those grand hotels. It was Niagara Falls’ first luxury hotel dating back to 1927 when it was known as the General Brock Hotel.
The Crown Plaza Niagara Falls Fallsview also has one of the best restaurants in Niagara Falls, The Rainbow Room is located on the 10th floor where you can choose from Prime Steakhouse or Massimo’s Italian Restaurant run by Chef and Host Massimo Capra. See prices on Booking.com / TripAdvisor

Niagara Falls Center
Located at the top of Clifton Hill, Niagara Falls Center offers a lot of hotel choices and is one of the best areas to stay in Niagara Falls for those on a budget or for families. When you get to the top of Clifton Hill at Ripley’s Believe it or Not is Victoria Ave which turns into Lundy’s Lane.
Staying up here is cheaper than the other two choices, but it is an easy walk to either location. It’s about 20 minutes to Fallsview and 10 minutes to Clifton Hill.
14. Courtyard by Marriott Niagara Falls
The Courtyard by Marriott Niagara Falls is our favorite mid-range hotel in Niagara Falls. It offers free shuttles for guests to visit the Fallsview Marriott so it is a great option to be able to enjoy the Fallsview area without the steep prices.
The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, The Keg Steakhouse is on sight and it has a fitness center. Guest rooms are elegant as you would expect with the Marriott brand with all the usual amenities including coffee makers, free wifi, and duvets. Courtyard Niagara Falls Marriott is also very close to Clifton Hill which is fun for the whole family. See it on TripAdvisor / Booking.com
15. Days Inn
Days Inn – This is a good budget choice. It was one of the first places we ever stayed on a package in Niagara Falls and if you are on a budget, the location is good and you can’t go wrong with the Days Inn Brand. While it’s difficult to get much in Niagara Falls on a budget, Days in is a good choice that has all the amenities you need including an indoor swimming pool and hot tub.
Days in have comfortable rooms and some rooms have jacuzzis and we are guilty of booking a room in the past with a heart-shaped hot tub, which they still offer! See it on TripAdvisor / Booking.com
16. Sterling Inn & Spa
Sterling Inn & Spa claims to be Niagara’s only boutique hotel and is a good choice for a quiet spa getaway or a romantic escape. You can book the off-season wine and dine packages and mid-week getaways for couples, side-by-side couples treatments and massage therapy.
Its luxurious guestrooms and suites are designed for a relaxing stay and some rooms even feature fireplaces and whirlpool tubs. And the Sterling Inn & Spa has a fitness center as well. The hotel’s on-site restaurant, AG Inspired Cuisine, is known for its farm-to-table approach to dining. See it on TripAdvisor / Booking.com
Niagara River
As you make your way out along the Niagara Parkway from downtown Niagara Falls to Niagara on the Lake, you’ll see many BnBs. There are also couple of motor inns and budget hotels out here including the Ramada by Wyndham Niagara Falls by the River and The Super 8. They are located between the Whitewater Walk and Aeorcar. The WeGo People mover stops here so this area is a great option for those on a budget.
17. Great Wolf Lodge
Great Wolf Lodge – This is a super family-friendly resort that we have stayed at for a fun romp in the water. Yes, we have even stayed at the family-oriented Great Wolf Lodge to play in its water park. Me thinks we’ve been to Niagara Falls a lot!
Great Wolf Lodge’s indoor water park spans more than 100,000 square feet. It is so much fun, you won’t want to leave the premises as you enjoy its waterslides, splash bucket, wave pool, and lounge area for adults to relax by the pool while the kids frolic in the water playground.
In addition to the waterpark, the resort also offers a range of family-friendly amenities such as mini-golf, a ropes course, an arcade, a kids’ spa, and daily activities such as storytime and character visits. This complete resort offers a variety of dining options, ranging from casual cafes to fine dining restaurants, serving everything from international cuisine to local favorites.
From what we remember the rooms were pretty standard and designed for families with comfortable rooms and lots of space. See it on TripAdvisor / Booking.com
18. HI Niagara Falls Hostel

Now that we have focused on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, let’s touch on some of hotels in Niagara Falls USA.
